Job Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Low Rise Residential Construction Superintendent to oversee the construction of their latest project in the Greater Hamilton Area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for running the site from start to finish, ensuring that all work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the construction site, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of project progress, including daily logs and reports.
Ensure that all work is completed safely and in compliance with all applicable regulations and codes.
Collaborate with project managers and other team members to identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the construction process.
Communicate regularly with the client to provide updates on project progress and ensure that their needs are being met.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in low rise residential construction, with a strong background in project management and site supervision.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of subcontractors and other workers.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think creatively and find innovative solutions to complex issues.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Knowledge of construction codes, regulations, and best practices, with a commitment to safety and quality.
