Role accountabilities:
Set CreditControl strategy and interface effectively with business Working with the finance team to develop and update credit policies and procedures to manage credit risk and ensure compliance with relevant regulations Manage focused targets for collection and billing Assessing the credit worthiness of new and existing customers by reviewing their financial statements, credit history, and conduct of credit checks Drive performance on debtors and focus on WIP, including leading BU calls and resolution of problem areas Monitoring and managing the collections process, ensuring timely payments from customers, and taking appropriate actions when necessary, such as initiating contact with late-payment customers or starting the debt recovery process Develop effective working capital processes in support of business aims Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, project managers and other stakeholders to resolve any credit-related issues and ensure smooth payment processes Preparing regular credit reports and analyzing credit data to identify trends, assess risk, and make the recommendation for credit decisions and improvements to creditcontrol processes Resolving any billing disputes or discrepancies promptly and efficiently to minimize delays in payment and maintain positive customer relationships Provide training, guidance, and support to the finance team, project managers and other relevant departments on creditcontrol policies and procedures to ensure consistency in credit management practices. Manage exposure to credit risk Manage provisioning including audit review Develop effective teams It is important for the creditcontrolmanager to maintain effective communication and collaboration with these stakeholders to ensure smooth credit management and minimize credit risk for the organization.Qualifications & Experience:
The candidate should have Experience as CreditControl lead in a medium/large business Delivering change and successful outcomes for a CreditControl function Proven record in delivering tight working capital levels Excel / ERP to a medium proficiency Experience in developing successful teams Drive to complete through taking ownership Able to work to deadlines and adapt to changing conditions Arcadis VancouverBritishColumbia
