Adecco is currently recruiting for a temporary to permanent, full-time ForkliftOperator in Saint John, NB, to work at a well-established company majoring in the production and export of oil, gasoline and natural gas.
In this role, you will be responsible for the rotation of inventory and loading/unloading of delivery vehicles.
This position is also accountable for the general upkeep of the work area and operating equipment.

Full-time | Temporary to Permanent Duties and Responsibilities:
Operates industrial forklifts to aid in the loading/unloading of palletized and non-palletized customer orders.
Picks & ships orders Promotes a safety culture in the workplace Performs routine visual inspections and maintains the upkeep of forklift equipment and work area Completes required training on transportation of dangerous goods and adhere to regulations to ensure 100% compliance Ensures the correct items are selected and placed safely onto trailers Completes all applicable paperwork in a timely and accurate manner Investigates the cause and corrective action for customer concerns as required Ensures all safety equipment (i.e.; wheel chocks) are in place before loading or unloading trailers Ensures placards are put on any trailer that requires them before loading Understands and complies with procedures for working with nonconforming/hold items Works with Radio Frequency Units for picking orders Contributes to the inventory control function by selecting aged stock when picking orders and participates in the counting of inventory as required Analyzes the load pattern for palletized orders Updates shipping loading/unloading board Performs other duties as assigned by a manager Requirements and Qualifications:
Previous experience working within a warehouse setting is a must ForkliftOperator training is required Strong Attention to detail - Ability to interpret order details and source proper skews/ labels in the warehouse Drug test & background check are required Must be reliable and an excellent team player Use of Personal Protective Equipment is crucial for safety Should follow all current Covid19 protocols Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada Don't miss out on this ForkliftOperator job opportunity in Saint John, NB.
