Job OverviewWe are currently looking for a LeadHandProduction/Maintenance in our NorthYork location at 774 Supertest Rd for the afternoon shift; Monday to Thursday from 3:
00 pm to 2:
00 am (10 hour shift).
Training will be 1 to 2 months on day shift before moving to the afternoon shift as LeadHand.
Starting rate is between $30.
and $35.
per hour and will be based on skill and ability of the candidate. A Day In The Life Must have knowledge of Hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, valves, gears, bearings and seals Electrical experience would be beneficial Will be required to do maintenance, preventative maintenance, maintaining maintenance records, repairs and troubleshooting Machine Set-ups, install & ensure machinery & equipment are working according to the purpose of the machine Must have strong mechanical aptitude On occasion ability to lift up to 50 lbs Must be able to read drawings Must comply with all safety protocols Ensure machines, compressors & other equipment is properly turned off at end of shift Ensure all doors to the facility have been closed and latched prior to leaving Oversee afternoon shift employees:
completing quality checks, machine speed is not slowed down, safety protocols followed & dumping of aluminum chips Must be able to communicate in English (verbal & written) What will help you thrive in this role?
