We are currently seeking a TerminalManager for a Transportation company located in Ottawa, ON Previous direct experience in the Transportation industry as a TerminalManager and experience in the LTL/TL industry is required for this positionSalary:
$100-120K/yearResponsibilities:
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures for daily operations - Managing and monitoring shipment coordination, routing, dispatching and tracking - Ensuring inbound and outbound shipments are handled quickly and efficiently and keeping with budget - Preparing budgets and developing health safety procedures - Investigating effective and efficient shipping methods and securing contracts with customers/carriers - Communicating with customers to provide updates on shipments and resolve issues - Keeping records of incoming goods, dispatch destinations and the number of trucks/drivers available - Coordinating staffing needs and overseeing training programs - Other duties as requiredQualifications:
