JT Recruit are looking for a CreditController on behalf of our client, a manufacturing company based in Newstead Village, NG15.
This is a full time permanent role.
Working hours are 08:
30am to 16:
30pm Monday to Thursday and 8:
30am to 3:
30pm Friday (The client can also accommodate to work around school hours if needed) Duties will include:
Managing up to half of the live customer accounts and ensuring that payments are received on time When new orders are received, monitoring the account for credit worthiness Chasing payments on accounts each month by email/telephone Completing credit checks on accounts each month On-stop orders checking the account to see if its overdue or requires a purchase order, contacting the customer to advise their account is on-stop Managing pro-forma invoices Liaising with the sales, customer service and invoicing teams regarding any queries Collecting aged debt in a timely and efficient manner Full administrative duties using the companys CRM, Sage, SagePay and other IT solutions Basic accounting duties Reconcile bank accounts, the sales ledger and individual customer accounts Dealing with customers queries via email/telephone Sending copy invoices and statements to customers Taking payments posting to ledgers and balancing cheques, BACS and card payments via SagePay Completing monthly statements Assist with training of any potential new employees within the department The ideal candidate:
Enthusiastic and motivated with a passion for customer care and debtor control Extremely numerate Competent using Sage200 and SagePay Expert knowledge in Microsoft Excel Previous credit control experience in a busy fast-paced department (3 years minimum) It would be advantageous to be AAT qualified to at least level 2 Have excellent interpersonal skills, and a superb telephone manner Salary:
