Your new company is a 24/7 online global service with million of customers around the globe, whose going through a major expansion into new territories! As a CloudSecurityEngineer you will be joining a new CloudSecurity team within the wider Information Security department.
As a CloudSecurityEngineer, you will be responsible for ensuring security is considered across all cloud platforms, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
You will work closely with the Cloud Platform team and other Information Security colleagues to ensure use cases are implemented securely, and all security tooling is appropriate and working efficiently.
You will need a strong background in enterprise infrastructure, ideally with experience of Microsoft Windows Server or Linux Operating systems.
Working knowledge of cloud platforms and the technologies that make them work, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure, or Microsoft365, are advantageous.
You should have extensive experience in a security position, and a demonstrable experience of applying security risk assessment methodologies.
Your responsibilities will include providing engineering oversight and direction for specific cloudsecurity technologies and ensuring all cloud services are secure by design.
You will review existing toolsets, identify operational gaps and recommend security enhancements.
You will also investigate opportunities to update security system capabilities to sustain and enhance network and system security integrity.
In addition, you will support and consult with stakeholders on security matters.
