My client, a market leading, UK based Engineering Consultancy, is searching for a Hydraulic Modeller to join their friendly and supportive Team of Engineers and Consultants based in Belfast.

Applicants are required to have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline (including a BSc/FdSc or MSc in Hydrology, River Basin Dynamics, Civil or Environmental Engineering) and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Hydraulic Modelling, Model Build and Verification using FloodModeller Pro and/or Tuflow.
Candidates are also required to have an interest in hydrological assessments, drainage strategies or floodrisk assessments.
As a Hydraulic Modeller you will have the opportunity to join a supportive and friendly team of Engineers and Consultants based in Belfast to complete FloodRisk, Hydraulic Modelling, Surface Water and Drainage Projects for Local Authorities, Water Companies and Private Sector Clients.
You will be supported by the team to complete hydraulic modelling using FloodModeller Pro and Tuflow, floodrisk assessments, flood estimation, floodrisk mapping using ArcGIS and floodrisk assessments for developments.
As a Hydraulic Modeller you may also have the opportunity to be trained to complete Drainage Strategy and SuDS Design using AutoCAD and Microdrainage.
