My client Genuit Group are currently recruiting for a HR BusinessPartner to work for their plastic manufacturing business based in Horncastle, Lincolnshire.

Job purpose:
We are looking for a dynamic HR BusinessPartner with a strong generalist background to join as an integral part of the HR team, working operationally and strategically alongside site management teams to drive the people agenda, whist prioritising their people needs.
This role sits alongside another HR BusinessPartner, reporting into the Head of HR.
You will be supporting the two Polypipe Civils & Green Urbanisation sites (Loughborough & Horncastle), which employees approximately 500 employees.
Supporting employees and providing pragmatic, commercial and employee-focused advice to a client group of front line and middle management across Operational, Sales and Support Functions.
You will enjoy a varied role and wide range of interactions across all levels daily, utilizing your excellent communication, coaching, and influencing skills to drive employee engagement and manage change, ensuring that we retain motivated teams of employees.
You will join a business that has a culture of autonomy and flexibility but where you will need to help develop management capability and empower leaders within the business on the full employee life cycle.
You will support on a range of ER matters, Recruitment and Selection, Absence, LTS, Occupational Health, Performance and Talent Management, Succession Planning, Employee Engagement and Wellbeing.
As the business operates across 2 UK sites (Horncastle and Loughborough), there will be requirement to travel between sites.
Key Accountabilities:
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with site Management teams, attending and contributing to Business Review meetings, working proactively with client groups to determine people priorities, and putting plans in place to address these.
Produce departmental and site business review reports on key people metrics including new hires, attrition, absence, headcount, employee relations and engagement activity, analyzing data to identify trends translating into recommendations and actions.
Coach and support line managers in the handling of ER cases, ensuring that cases are managed promptly in a manner consistent and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Collaboration with Occupational Health to ensure medical records are maintained, ill health capability and LTS cases are managed effectively.
Actively advise and support managers on best practice in respect of current employment legislation and internal policies including disciplinary & grievance, capability, absence, family friendly policies (maternity & paternity) flexible working, people development and recruitment.
Ensuring departmental labour resources are maintained in line to budgeted requirements through proactively managing the recruitment needs of the sites, liaising with external agencies to attract suitable candidates with vacancies filled in a timely manner.
Supporting the ongoing implementation of a Group wide HRIS system and other Group wide initiatives.
Work in collaboration with Employee Forum and Trade Unions to drive and deliver positive change and process improvements.
Undertaking other reasonable duties that can be requested.
