Job Description Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a confident manager who will monitor, report and advise on practices which promote choice, well-being and protection of all individuals in three “supported living plus” services.

This vacancy is based in Retford, Warsop and Worksop, supporting a total of 8 adults with learning disabilities and Autism.

You will lead these services with the support of two team leaders and our brilliant support workers.

These services are delivered by Future Home Care, part of the Lifeways Group.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of PBS, autism, and learning disabilities and strive to uphold the principles of the Right Care, Right Support, Right Culture.

Supervise, mentor, and act as a positive leader to Team Leaders and Support Workers to ensure effective and efficient person-centred service delivery to all people who use the service.

To understand the service specification including expectations on support to be delivered Be passionate about upholding the rights of the people we support & embed PBS fundamentals across the services.

Trauma informed support is key.

Monitor and report on compliance with health, safety and security regulations and requirements.

Undertake regular audits and risk assessments in line with safe practices in the workplace.

Participate in rotational on-call system as assigned.

In the absence of the Area Manager deputise responsibilities and aspects of their role to ensure the seamless operation of the office and regional services.

The nature of the role may require flexible hours, including some evening and weekend hours.

There is a requirement that on occasion you work reasonable additional hours when authorised and as necessitated by the needs of the business.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

Professional Qualification
- NVQ 3/ NVQ 5 (Or willing to complete – we will fully fund your qualification!) Relevant experience in a management role, preferably within the Health and Social Care sector or with transferrable skills and experience Excellent people skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external colleagues.

You must be confident using IT as we are digitalising our systems.
