Interaction Recruitment are pleased to be working with one of their favourite clients based in Hadleigh, Suffolk, who are looking for a SupportTechnician.
The SupportTechnician is an entry level role that will be responsible for supporting, resolving, and handling technical support requests from internal employees.
This role will be responsible for the support, preparation and configuration of desktops, laptops, printers, and other user peripherals.
Supporting Microsoft Windows, Apple iOS and Android OS based devices.
Job Duties · Regular activities include equipment configuration and refurbishment and fielding employee calls and working under the technical direction of Support Engineers, data cabling, systems administration in a Microsoft environment.
· Telecom/mobility administration.
Root cause analysis.
· Be entrepreneurial, self-directed technical expert that can work both independently and with the broader team.
· Identifying, diagnosing, researching, tracking, and resolving technical problems.
· Escalating issues and facilitating user assistance from third parties or other IT groups as needed.
· Deploying, managing, and documenting a wide variety of IT devices and applications running primarily on Lenovo desktops, ThinkPad laptops, Apple mobile devices, Android mobile devices and Microsoft Teams meeting rooms installed on Logi devices · Configuring workstations, laptops, and audio-visual equipment on a timely and independent basis.
· Interacting independently with end users and meeting all assigned user support and IT project commitments.
· Effectively working in a cooperative and collaborative EMEA team environment.
· Ability to be flexible and take on new skills and responsibilities as this role evolves with the changing technologies and methods common within the field.
· They must possess excellent customer service skills and be a first point of contact for support requests.
· All activities are tracked and managed on Service Now Person requirements / desirable · Background of working on a service desk, datacentre or technical depot preferred.
· Knowledge of Windows based operating systems.
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills · Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously · Excellent verbal and written communication · Demonstrated ability to build, configure and repair windows-based computers.
· Understanding of basic networking.
· Experience with structured network cabling and wiring a plus but not essential · Multilingual a plus - Spanish, Italian, French or Dutch Salary - £23,000 - £25,000 · Full Time, permanent - Monday to Friday 08:

Regular travel to our UK sites in Norwich and Edinburgh.
