ABOUT THE ROLE The CFM Legal & Compliance team is involved in complex projects requiring a deep understanding of capital market regulations across the world.

CFM's compliance with internal standards, as well as applicable laws and regulations using a risk-based approach, run and expand CFM's 2nd line of controls to meet operational, legal, and regulatory evolutions, audits of internal operational departments as well as main external providers, exceptions to management, issue recommendations and ensure proper implementation, education, communication, and technology to promote a culture of risk and quality controlinternally, IT processes to automate regulatory & risk monitoring, in a range of regulatory communications & filings, informed on latest rules, regulations, and best practices, with lawyers, auditors, and other external advisers & service providers.
SKILLSET REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS have a master's degree in business, law or engineering from a highly, regarded establishment, ideally have at least 7 years of experience in similar work at an asset manager, are a team player with attention to detail and capacity to deliver, can work independently on complex projects, have excellent problem-solving skills with an analytical mind and ease for numbers, have excellent written and oral presentation/communication skills, are a forward-looking person, with ambitions to innovate, have a good understanding of regulatory framework applying to Asset Managers (US Adviser Act, US Securities and Exchange Act, UCITS, AIFMD, MAR, EMIR, MiFID, etc.) as well as contractual terms, have a good capacity to use IT systems to resolve business problems have a good knowledge of financial markets and financial products.
