Responsibilities:


As a Business Development Specialist at Clearly Local, you will play a crucial role in supporting our growth in the European market.


Leveraging your expertise in selling language and localization services, you will engage with Enterprise customers and build strong, long-lasting partnerships.


Your responsibilities will include:



  1. Sales Strategy Development:


    Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to identify and target potential Enterprise customers within the European region.

  2. New Business Acquisition:


    Proactively seek out new business opportunities and lead the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting to closing deals.

  3. Client Relationship Management:


    Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

  4. Market Research:


    Stay abreast of industry trends, competitors, and potential market shifts to position Clearly Local as a market leader.

  5. Collaboration:


    Collaborate closely with our marketing and operations teams to align sales efforts with overall company objectives.

  6. Sales Reporting:


    Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and key performance indicators.

  7. Networking:


    Attend relevant industry events, conferences, and trade shows to expand your professional network and represent Clearly Local in the localization community.

Requirements:


To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:



  1. Proven Experience:


    A minimum of 2 years of successful experience as a Business Development Manager, specifically selling language and localization services.

  2. Enterprise Sales:


    Demonstrated experience in selling to Enterprise-level customers, understanding their unique needs and navigating complex sales cycles.

  3. Sales Track Record:


    A track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs within the localization industry.

  4. European Base:


    Based in Europe with the flexibility to travel up to 50% of the time to meet clients and attend company events.

  5. Entrepreneurial Mindset:


    A self-driven, ambitious individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, capable of identifying opportunities and taking initiatives.

  6. Multilingual Proficiency:


    Native speaker in your home country’s language, fluent in English, and ideally fluent in a third language, such as French or German.

  7. Remote Work:


    Comfortable with a full remote work setup and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse, geographically distributed team.
