Maximize sales and margin for all assigned Corning Optical Communications' products to the Enterprise Network market in the allocated region, in Datacenter applications

Generate leads and identify new opportunities, positioning and specifying Corning's solutions.

Develop and maintain relationships with end users, distribution channels and integrators / installers.

Develop and implement territory plan and adjust sales techniques according to interactions and results in the field.

Ensure that all Corning Optical Communications' business processes are followed.

Meet or exceed budgeted sales levels for all products through regular sales calls to a targeted, balanced mix of end users, consultants, distributors and contractors generating a preference for Corning Optical Communications' products.

Maintain positive Customer relationships across key functional areas including appropriate Executive action.

Maintain and update Account Plans, Opportunities and activities for allocated region in the respective CRM database.

Establish and maintain sufficient product knowledge of Corning Optical Communications' products and their applications to recognize opportunities and communicate internally to achieve maximum advantage.

Communicate competitive information obtained from all sources to specific Product Line Managers, Marketing and Sales.

Participate in nominated regional trade shows and conventions in the territory to promote Corning Optical Communications' solutions and support targeted distributors' sales effort.

Bachelor's degree (technical) or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing or related field

3 or more years of sales experience preferably in the same industry (IT or Cabling industry) with proven success rate at levels above sales quota
