We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shipyard LogisticsManager to oversee all aspects of logistics operations in a busy refit shipyard in Marseille.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the transportation and delivery of high-value items for international shipping, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across a site that at times can be working across up to 15 large scale luxury vessels Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize operations and enhance efficiency Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions Lead a team in stores and logistics and provide guidance and support in daily operations Collaborating with internal teams to plan and execute logistics operations Analyzing logistics data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement Supervising and providing guidance to logistics team members Ensuring compliance with shipping regulations and international trade requirements
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field Proven experience in logistics management, particularly in the international shipping of high-value items Strong knowledge of shipping regulations, customs clearance processes, and international trade compliance Proficiency in logistics software and tools for tracking and monitoring shipments
