Please note this role is outside IR35 Role Description The MissionSystemsEngineer is responsible for supporting the MissionSystems discipline on a number of Aircraft programs.
The role involves progressing system and system equipment changes and modifications and responding to customer queries on a number of Aircraft Systems as follows:
Attack and Ident Communications Cockpit Displays and Controls Defensive Aids and Reconnaissance Mission Computing and Data Loading Navigation On-board recording and Maintenance System Weapon Aiming and Forward Looking Sensors Stores Management System The role includes liaison and communication with engineering and project disciplines, customers, suppliers and regulators.
Warton internal departments primarily Airworthiness, General Systems, System Safety, Airframe Structures, etc.
Generation and Maintenance of design documentation Support to Equipment upgrades and obsolescence via the Tornado Modification Procedure.
Review of DRLs, EMAPFs and update of DDP's clearances Support to reviews, Customer TQ answering Skills and experience Experience in one or more of the Missionsystems disciplines Familiar with standard office software packages.
Appreciation of the Tornado modification process and Tornado toolsets such as EDSRS would be advantageous.
Qualifications Degree or equivalent in Aerospace/Systemsengineering or other relevant discipline.
