As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing the networks and smart grids business development strategy.
This includes scoping projects, delivering proposals, and maintaining relationships with customers.
You will also manage and deliver technical consultancy projects, working closely with customers and other technical experts to define success and ensure customer satisfaction while managing budgets and timescales.
In addition, you will interface with other teams across the company to deliver multi-faceted projects and services to clients.
As a leader, you will support and contribute to the culture of people development and knowledge sharing.
You will also contribute to the Power Planning and Solutions business strategy and lead elements of the business area, particularly around networks and smart grids.
This includes active business development, pipeline management, understanding and developing the team, and forming recruitment plans.
Examples of projects you will be working on include smart grid/network innovation projects, grid connection studies for renewable energy projects, grid code review and drafting in the UK and overseas, and network reliability studies.
