East London Cedar are delighted to be exclusively partnering with Tower Hamlets Homes to recruit a SeniorProcurementBusinessPartner.
As part of this exciting opportunity, you will be working in a small and dynamic procurement team which assists in the delivery of a range of procurement projects across all categories, including the delivery of an annual capital investment programme of over £20 million per annum.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has a passion for procurement and is committed to delivering excellence, must have excellent working knowledge of UK procurement regulations, experience of developing and managing procurement programmes and ideally have staff management experience.
This role will be key in supporting the business in undertaking procurement and contract management activities in a timely and compliant way ensuring value for money is achieved.

The duties and responsibilities in this role will expand as experience is gained, knowledge is demonstrated, and formal studies are successfully completed.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver large scales and complex procurements across the Tower Hamlets Homes portfolio (including high risk/high value) Work with senior managers to develop business, departmental and service area level procurement strategies Manage up to 2 staff, setting objectives, monitoring performance, and undertaking appraisals Assist with building capacity across the business for procurement and contract management Deputise for the Head of Procurement To take responsibility for providing the procurement and contract advice and support service Key Requirements for Candidates' applying:
Must have experience working in the UK public sector - must have excellent working knowledge of UK procurement regulations.
Must have experience running projects end-to-end, with experience operating with different routes to market.
Should have experience running tender projects across a variety of categories, ideally construction and housing related.
Must have experience developing and managing procurement programmes with a long-term/strategic outlook.
Candidates will ideally have staff management experience.
