Job Purpose This is a fantastic opportunity for a SeniorProjectManager to work with our large Defence client, within a talented and dedicated team, focusing on the build-up of critical defence infrastructure.
You will join the Acoustic Programme within the Maritime Training, Tactics, Test and Evaluation Transformation Team, a larger project team, which has 50 engineers assigned to it.
You will be accountable for the delivery and leadership of a number projects, which will likely include some bid work for follow on contracts.
You will be tasked with ensuring commitments to our clients internal and external stakeholders are met.
Key Accountabilities:
Delivery of high value, complex projects.
Development and maintenance of engagement with project customers, partners and suppliers.
Delivery of the project outputs, to agreed baseline (customer satisfaction, time, cost, quality).
Ensuring project members operate in line with the Operating Framework & functional competency management requirements; and have appropriate personal objectives recorded in the performance management system.
Resolving conflicts within the project and collaborating across the business Maintenance of forecasts (both financial and resource demand signal) for sales and delivery which reflects the up-to-date expectations for the work.
Application of governance requirements for foundation sales and delivery work.
Reporting progress on all accountabilities to programme / portfolio manager.
Ensuring correct entry and maintenance of data onto customer management tools to support your opportunities with all details correct and up to date.
Experience & Qualifications:
Experience of leading projects, programmes or P3 function and successfully delivering complex projects Experience of contract Management / Bid Management Excellent leadership.
Able to influence and align others towards the vision for the project and to empower people to achieve success.
Effective communication as part of a two-way interaction, using a range of techniques, to ensure the received meaning matches the transmitted meaning.
Stakeholder Management.
Able to identify, plan and implement actions to positively engage parties with an interest in or influence over the project outputs.
Experience delivering Defence, Maritime or Aerospace projects.
Desirable Experience & Qualifications:
