Job Description
The CustomerSupportEngineer will be responsible for meeting business objectives by developing practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and resolving customer issues related to GE e-terra products.
Responsibilities include addressing customer concerns with GE e-terra AEMS, supporting SCADA/EMS software, and ensuring effective communication and troubleshooting across systems.
Key skills include experience with GE e-terra AEMS or EMS, SCADA tools, electrical grid knowledge, communication protocols like DNP3, IEC 104, IEC 61850, Modbus, and familiarity with Linux, Windows, Oracle, SQL, TCP/IP, and network troubleshooting.
The role requires independent work, adherence to NERC CIP standards, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle stressful situations positively.
Responsibilities
Lead strategizing with internal teams and customers to resolve issues.
Engage with customers, organize calls, and ensure solutions meet customer needs.
Mentor staff and contribute to knowledge transfer via documentation.
Analyze and troubleshoot GE solution issues, including UI, network, interoperability, and data management.
Manage caseloads, perform follow-ups, and report product problems for engineering resolution.
Participate in on-call rotations and travel to customer sites as needed.
